It's hard to imagine when you are a teenager the immense responsibility you will have when you get older. It's even harder to explain that to your own teenager. To love your child so much and only want the best for them, only to have them fight you and hate you for everything you do. I also feel sorry for teenagers these days. They face so many more difficulties than we did. I know there are more parents out there who are terrified for their children and don't know how to protect them. It's sad to think that a teenager could walk in and take the lives of others and themselves and for what? What does that gain them? They don't realize what they are depriving themselves and those whose lives they take of. Sorry for rambling but my daughters school was targeted and I guess I'm still a little unnerved by that. To all you young people out there, let me say, be safe & there is someone who cares. I'm not an orthodox individual but being unique is part of my charm....talk to me anytime.

Crisis was diverted at daughter's school. I still wish for peace everywhere. Life is hard enough without having to worry about some crazy coming into your school and killing you or your friends. I'm sorry you all have to deal with this. May children find peace because we adults have screwed it up.
