My Junk
A few poems, the ones I like at least. And some RPC's so I don't have to write a starter on the fly.
Talik : Lost Battles
It was raining again. The clouds overhead blocking out the warming rains of the sun, spilling the heavy water down upon the earth below, drowning the hopes of the men and women that were there. It was impossible hear the rain hitting the ground, explosions and gunfire were far louder, drowning out the soft pit pat of water on bloodied soil. The bodies of the dead lay scattered everywhere, most lucky to be intact at all, limbs and blood all that remained of the Third Corps. The ground shook as another series of explosions ran across the open plains, the wind gusting and bring the sounds of screams, some human and some not, followed quickly by the smell of roasted flesh. Those in the way of the wind vomited, the smell strong enough to bring even the most decorated of veterans to their knees. They had thought that it would be a quick battle, the numbers were leaning far in their favor, but the losses so far had been massive.

Talik choked back another urge to hurl, his stomach clenching tight at the smell of death, his brown hair falling down in front of his eyes, his mouth tightened in a grimace. Raven was kneeling on the ground behind him, evidence that she hadn't been able to fight the urge as well as he had by the puddle next to her, long red hair tied back in a ponytail and her gun gripped tight in one hand. She was all the remained of his squad, the rest had been massacred in the first rush, the demons having simply self destructed the whole front line. Talik shook his head, grabbing his assault rifle and peeking out from his cover, a short clump of bushes near the western edge of the battle. He could hear the screams of chaos from the east, unable to imagine the fate of friends that mightt be there. He nodded to Raven and they rushed forward again, taking down two demons as the emerged from the edges of the forest, their dark hulking forms collapsing silently. Talik and Raven slipped into the darkness of the trees, walkie talkie on Ravens right hip blaring loudly.

This is a direct ord.. The signal faded in and out, the demons interference absorbing most of the radio waves. ...repeat...bombin to commen....retreat to compoun.... Talik smiled, running his hand through his thick brown hair, "Time to go." His voice was soft, barely a whisper, but the explosions were infact dying down, the gunfire sporadic and dimishing. They slipped back out onto open ground and sprinted back the way they had come, using the ccraters and makeshift bunkers for covers as they went. The number of dead began to dimish quickly, only the ocassional body showing up around a hill. They hadn't been prepared for this type of war, the guerilla tactics, the abilities of the demons themselves, it was exhausting every resource they had to call upon. Talik truely didn't think they could hold too much longer, the demons never seemed to tremble, never seemed to have fewer numbers then before, and never tired of the chase.
