Standing there with helpless eyes
As the tears fall and fade in the rain
The reflection of your guilt is seen in her eyes
She tried to stop you but her cries have fallen on deaf ears
The soft rose liquid covers your shirt and falls to the ground
You stand there firm
You act like nothing was wrong
With your friend on the ground
You make sure that he met his end
She falls to her knees and asks you “Why?”
All you do is stand there with no answer in sight
Soon you feel your body trembling and the tears start falling
She said “Why?” over and over again
You stand there and say “I couldn’t help it.”
She looks at you and then feels the soft rose liquid fall from her neck
She falls to your feet and you simply walk away
A voice says in your head
“Does it make you feel better knowing that they are gone?”
The only answer you give is a little smirk
As the tears continue to fall from your eyes
