Deep in the Texan country, in a small town in a desert, a city girl named Ky had taken comfort in the country life. An ex-hero, she found the house of justice: A sheriff's office with only a few officers around. "Where's your sheriff?", she inquired. "I'd like a word with him." The men peeped at her over her booze and laughed. There hadn't been a sheriff here in years. At least, not a serious one. "Well then, I'd like to volunteer myself." More laughter, which was not a surprise to Ky this time around. Their questions were valid. Who did she think she was? How did she intend to just stroll in and take a position that hadn't been properly filled for years? "I'll prove my worth. Just tell me how."
Which led her back into the streets, hunting a man known for his womanizing. He had a habit of being all too coercive, if you know what I mean, the men cooed. "I know what you mean. I'll find 'im."
Just like a rouge. She'd found him boozing, letting his fingers dart across another drunken girl. "Hands off her, Krieg. The man would turn to find a pistol pointed out him from across the room. Bystanders scooted back and gasped at the bold woman. It was the stereotypical standoff she'd dreamed of.
"Who the hell're you?"
Click. Smirk. "I'm the sheriff around these parts. At least I will be, once I carry you in." Her eyes narrowed at him, watching every motion as he slunk toward her.
"You think you... are going to stop me?" His hand traced the lines of her pistol all the way up to her collar bone. "How could you," he started, leaning into her ear, "when you can't even resist me?"
He was close. Too close. Her breathing got heavier and she shook her head. "You're a fool." The tip of her pistol kissed his neck, not making a hint of moving away. "You walked right into your cell, buddy."
The men at the office couldn't believe it. Was a woman on the team all they had needed to catch this guy? They left Ky's new office grumbling drunkenly, occasionally running into one another. That left her alone with the holding cell and her first catch. "I'm gonna get out of here, you know. You know you were tempted-- you can't keep up that front forever."
Ky turned to face the prisoner, twirling the jail keys on her finger victoriously. She leaned her face into the bars, and laughed, clinching the keys in her fist suddenly. "Don't count on it." A final smirk was given to the prisoner before she took a satisfying seat in her new chair, propped her feet on the desk, and leaned back in her seat. The new sheriff let out a sigh before pulling her hat over her face and falling asleep.

Kymani's Ramblings.
Right... this is multi-functional, you know? So why describe what's chaotic as anything other than just that?
