My name's Kayla and I'm your everyday college student who's just trying to make ends meet. I thoroughly enjoy roleplaying. My favorites include any type of semi.lit to Lit high school mythical creature roleplay and anything to do with vampires.
I love Scott Westerfeld. He's simply a genius. The things that he pulls out of his a** never cease to amaze me when I read one of his new books. I own the "Uglies" Boxed Set, although one of my friends lost my copy of Extras. -_- I also own all three books in his "Leviathan" series. I'm looking for the good versions of Peeps and the Midnighters series.
Uglies is a series that flipped everything I viewed as natural, beauty, and environmental awareness. Sweet Jesus. This man is incredible. An oil bug that wipes out cars, heat, and just about anything that runs on coal or petroleum? It's very real, and it could happen any day now. The idea that beauty is something given to you as a present? Remarkable. And the idea that we're wasting our planet just as the 'rusties' were wasting theirs (we ARE the rusties people) is simply an outstanding similarity. I've written college level papers on this series. I plan to write many more on the topics of environmental stability, being socially accepted, the idea of easily changing your body to match the perfect style, and having a belief on perfection.
But enough about books, let's get into more subjects.
I'm a photographer. I've been so for about two years, but I've just recently gotten into the professional scene in the past year. I have a business. It's called K. Chidester Photography. I'm a grammerfag. I have to hold myself back from correcting grammer in the forums all the time. Sometimes I just can't help myself, and I get carried away. If you become a victim of this, I apologize in advanced. You should've used proper grammar in the first place.

I'm in college! I go to a community college part time and work at Joann Fabrics part time. I love my job. It's the best. Words can't even describe how much I love it.
I'm majoring in art. Computer Animation to be exact. I will work for Disney one day. I will work with Pixar and Dreamworks to create beautiful, timeless pieces. I minor in photography, with such knowledge I will further my horizons to weddings and professional shoots in places such as the Olympic arenas.
I have a boyfriend. <3 He is my boyfriend of six months this August. He's a gentleman, and a prime example of why chivalry isn't dead.
