Body: An ectomorph shape, scrawny, adolescent in appearance despite his age. Face: A diamond shape, lightly speckled, thin eyebrows, pointed chin, small ears. Hair: Blue with white bangs, length varies from slightly past shoulder length to choppy pixie cut. Eyes: Hazel, has no pupils.

Personality: Maurice’s personality depends on the people around him. When among male friends, he’s vibrant, jovial, enthusiastic, and sarcastic/witty; however, he’s always withdrawn about his deeper feelings; he never makes true confessions. He's a compulsive liar. Around females, he’s mostly close-mouthed or mutters when spoken to, and he stands with his back to everyone. When he applies himself, he can be smart, but he rarely does. He has very little manners; he doesn't utilize etiquette behavior, he likes to make jokes/witty comments, he enters without knocking, and he sticks his nose in other peoples’ business. He has a high sense of justice however, and he’s always willing to help, in fact, a little too willing. He's a compulsive helper. Whether his actions are actually beneficial or not, he doesn't care; he's satisfied so long as he fulfills his desire to assist others. He has a sense of superiority as well, a little too much self-confidence which turns to cockiness, and he doesn't deal well with those who don't listen to him. On that note, he's a massive hypocrite; he'll tell you not to do things that he does all the time, like doing drugs or disobeying the authorities.
Bio: Born on Jul, Maurice was expunged into outer space moments before its destruction. He crashed on Earth where he was found by the military that then transferred him to an adoption agency. There, he was placed in foster care, located on palmy Christmas Island, and given to Kitty, an oblivious and overly ambitious woman and already a mother to three daughters, Angelica, Jordan, and Brittany.
For years, Maurice endured mild abuse from his sisters, like having his hair yanked, his chest sat on and his face covered so he can't breathe, him forced to wear dresses and makeup; nothing too severe, but certainly uncalled for. Kitty taught him the phrase, "Grin and bear it," which he grew to live by. Both neighbors were women; one was single, bitter, and judging; the other was married to a busy husband and ignorant and scatterbrained. Due to the way he was treated and ignored by his foster family and neighbors, Maurice learned to fear women, thinking most, if not all, females were the same way.
At the age thirteen, Maurice ran away from home and decidedly became a drifter. Despite his young age, he was very self-capable; he was able to take on mediocre jobs and earn a little money for himself. Today, Maurice has lots of friends that he mooches off of.

Jul is a sunless planet that consists of ice and snow. The inhibitors, or Julians, are pale humanoid creatures with light colored hair and pupiless eyes. They have short, translucent hairs that cover the body, tailored to retain heat, and slightly smaller ears than that of an average human to reduce heat loss. Due to the lack of light, Julians have refined senses of smell, hearing, and touch; sight is virtually useless to them. As a result, Julians have no pupils to filter the amount that enters the retina.
• "Maurice's curse has struck again."
It seems every time I ask an artist on Gaia to draw Maurice, they'll either "die" before finishing or finish drawing him and "die" afterwards. Every piece of art I have of him came from an artist who finished the piece and then stopped logging onto Gaia pretty much forever. Then there's all those artists that I had to cancel on because they went MIA for many months after accepting my request. It's happened too often to just be coincidence. Draw him at your own risk.
• Why are Maurice's bangs white?
I don't want to go into the exact details. Let's put it this way: Maurice is a species that requires incubation to stay alive. He can come out of incubation for a limited amount of time; if he stays out too long, he dies. His hair indicates how much time he has. It gradually turns white as he gets weaker. One day, he stayed out a little too long and his bangs became defective; they stay white no matter how long he stays in incubation.

Well if she fails you could ask for color art from that one chick that never seems to let you down. I can't remember her username at the moment but I know her colored work is something gorgeous to look at, so are her line works.
It's really surprising that you haven't. Maurice has been in your head for years and years, longer than Tej and Lucy, and you don't seem to want a lot for him.
I'm probably going to end up vending and saving up for my most expensive dream avi. I really do like it, it's just a little pricey, no where near Kimberly though.
