It really is a shame how long you have to know most people to actually, truly know who they are as a person & how they view the world/those around them. To be approached at a time of such emotional vulnerability, especially at that age & w/ low self-esteem... I don't think you were at fault. By taking advantage of your situation, he was probably using it to increase his own self-esteem. Drawing from a grand total of zero relationships, I probably wouldn't have been able to provide more insightful advice than your friends did, but I also would not be able to rationally cast blame to your past, inexperienced self at the time, considering all of the details that surrounded the relationship ever since the beginning. As long as you're happy about who you're w/ now & how different of an experience it is from your previous relationship, all is good, yes? =)

What a great Regional! Thank you all for the many things that so many of you have done to contribute towards our success...so far. Take a deep breath (and hopefully some sleep) then get ready to cowboy up for another regional competition.
Madera is right around the corner and we're doing the best we can to get ready and put our best foot forward when we're there.
We will be having a series of meetings this upcoming Saturday, March 24th at our new facilities in the portables. Our primary focus is on getting ready for Madera but also on lessons learned from this season that can be applied to next season as time permits.
Times are
10:00 AM - 1 PM Mentor meeting
1-2PM Current board presents their lessons / plans meeting (my understanding is that you're meeting Thursday to create these recommendations)
2PM - 4 PM TorBots Team Meeting - to discuss lessons learned and prepare for Madera - details follow.
Please bring chairs to the meeting.
Meeting will identify when parents can support with food and time in the shop leading up to Madera, especially those who have not taken the opportunity to support the team so far. We'll have a sign up so you can indicate when you can help out. We will develop the list of things to do on Saturday but already there's plenty to put the team to task.
There will be a follow-on meeting to discuss transportation and logistics for the trip itself. In the meantime, this is what I have:
Paid students going to Madera :
*then there's a table with students' names on it, and your last name is spelled "Patronus". rofl
What I know about drivers (Driver name, when they are leaving and returning, people other than driver that they can hold):

If any of this is wrong - IT IS CRITICAL THAT YOU CLARIFY DRIVER ASSIGNMENTS!!! If the assignments are mistaken, please let me know ASAP. Errors can result in students not getting rides or rooms.

You can go pick up your shirts! Just ask Alyssa. We moved everything to the portables. You can also purchase hoodies if you want.
I did go to meetings but Shelby asked Alyssa about the shirts and Alyssa said, "Oh, I'm not the one who takes care of the shirts."
