Haha, yeah, those. The memes make me chuckle though sometimes I worry that I haven't read the books or seen the films in a while and some things may go over my head. Thankfully that hasn't been the case. emotion_yatta
I thought people hated Azkaban because of how much liberty Cuaron took with it, at least based on the reactions I saw. I did like it, though. But it is my favorite book as well.
Yeah, DH1 was infinitely better than the second.
Loooool I need to marathon LOTR too. I haven't revisited the series, either, in a while. I miss being able to just binge-read stuff.
Can't blame you, it is quite the great series and it is going to last. And of course the nostalgia/memories. 3nodding

The fandom is incredible. Sometimes I find them a little scary but you have to love the determination and devotion. 3nodding
I'm used to the movies being flawed as I saw all of them. I'll admit I wasn't super critical watching them because after seeing Prisoner of Azkaban (my favorite of the books) I decided that eh, they're not gonna be 100% faithful to the book but they'll make something decent anyway.
Seeing as I have them all on DVD maybe I should marathon them at some point. Though I'm really more a books person than a movies one.
I don't blame you for tearing up at all. There are moments that definitely warrant the waterworks.

I really loved the books and I need to revisit them at some point. When I get back to reading things other than my research.
I find it quite awesome that the fandom is still picking up things I may have missed during my early readings of the series, back when I was a kid, and forming new theories years after the main series has ended.
