MY LIFE STORY
Hi.
My name is Goosiebelle Veronica McMoosie. I am a god trapped in a mortal's body, you know. The usual. I live in Canada but spend most of my time on the internet.
I grew up in Quebec, Canada but don't live there anymore. I never got good at speaking French and some say that the whispers of my anglophone legacy can still be heard in quiet, cobbled corridors.
I studied digital art with a focus on film and screenwriting, which is a bit of a joke since I rarely have the motivation to write anything in my own time. I also have interests in archaeology, architecture and industrial/graphic design, mental health and LGBTQ issues, and humanitarian concerns. Animals and animal welfare are very important to me. My aspiration as a child was to be a marine biologist, though I was never good enough with maths or sciences to achieve that. My favorite animal is the cheetah, though orca whales are a close second.
In my free time (which is all the time) I listen to podcasts (My Brother, My Brother and Me, Hello From the Magic Tavern, The Adventure Zone, The Flop House, Welcome to Night Vale, The Orbiting Human Circus (Of the Air), Dan Carlin's Hardcore History, Stuff You Should Know and many more), watch TV (Scrubs, Avatar: TLA, Avatar: LoK, Madoka Magica, Re:Zero, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Adventure Time, Brooklyn 99, Archer, Orange is the New Black, and many more) and movies (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Moulin Rouge, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, Stoker, Zootopia, Beauty and the Beast, What Dreams May Come, and many more), and play a lot of video games (Pokemon, Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, World of Warcraft, Dota 2, Stardew Valley, Civilization, The Sims, and you guessed it, many more). Mostly though, I just sleep.
At the very end of 2008 my application to join the Gaia moderator team was accepted and volunteered on and off for a decade. I am now retired from modding but still tangentially present in the community by way of family and friends.
In 2018 I married my husband, Gaidin, and we have two beautiful cats together.
