Hey ^^ I'm just randomly going on Gaia for the sake of nostalgia and then I saw all the interactions we had and remembered what fun it was to talk to you xD Perhaps you'll have the same feeling as me one day and go on for a bit, hope you see my message then! Yes! May! I can't believe how time has passed so quickly! One minute I'm fifteen spending countless hours in an anime forum, the next thing I know I'm graduating college, haha.
You know something funny? I said I wasn't watching any television when I last commented you, but that has drastically changed. This past fall I've been keeping up with over ten shows, I believe! Supernatural, Vampire Diaries, The Walking Dead, Once Upon a Time, OUAT in Wonderland, The Originals, Glee, ....wow....The Heirs, and Pretty Man (both are Korean dramas). I must be insane... because I definitely don't have time for any of that. And once January rolls around I know I'll just be watching even MORE shows, it's ridiculous.
I'm not exactly going to be applying to med schools, I'll admit. It was my dream to be a doctor, but that will come in time... maybe. For now I'll likely be taking a gap year or two. I plan to work part time while shadowing, volunteering, and sending in applications to professional school. And by thaaaaat I mean as a Physician's Assistant. Think of it as a doctor... but with a masters degree instead of doctorate. They basically do the same thing, but work under someone else's license. For now, that is my goal. Admittedly, I may not have the right personality to be doctor... we'll see!
Hmmm, what else can I tell you?...Oh! I ended up doing my internship at a Florida State Park. The good thing about biology is that it is a pretty expansive major. I'm not very keen about research science (Bleghhh). They say if you don't love research, there's no point...so I decided to call up the state park and see how some non-molecular people spend their time. It's pretty laid back, but definnitely not something I'd want to do with my life. Recently I've been trudging though swamp waters (VERY SCARY AT FIRST), learning about exotic invasive plants, and the beloved FL ScrubJay for biologists. Being a park intern has been very interesting to say the least.
My sister recently moved and got a job at Disney World... I'm very excited. We live, like, 25 minutes from such a magical place, haha. AND she gets free passes for family, it's awesome. We have yet to go, but we might go this week. No matter how many times I've been to these amusement parks, it is always excited to go back. Recently they added Belle and Beast' as well as Ariel's castle into 'New Fantasy Land'.... and I heard Anna and Elsa from FROZEN are hanging out at EPCOT. As you can tell, I'm very excited.
Thanks for adding me on FB, by the way! I wasn't quite sure if I was supposed to respond to you there. I'm not sure if you could tell, but I tend to be logged in there 24/7, it's a very unfortunate part of my internet addiction....
What kind of shop do your parents own? OooOoo I haven't heard of INFINITY before, but I also don't really play video games. I played my first video game just a few days ago, actually.... on my sister's boyfriend's new PS4. So, basically I'm a beginner.
I wish you all the luck in your artsy endeavors! I'm sure you can do anything! I remember some of the stuff you showed me back in the day, I was very impressed.... and since that was so long ago, I'm sure it's even more spectacular now wink

Hahaha, I would wish I could study Law, but my personality doesn't go well with being a lawyer at all. I am all about directly helping people hands on rather than using just words to protect people. So yeah basically I tried doing Pharmacy and it's not bad so far. It gets harder and harder by each semester, the failure rates is always constantly increasing. I just hope I can cope doing well throughout my whole pharmacy degree.
Time does flies so fast. You wouldn't even notice! But ah not really, I am not actually doing psychology at all. 'Counselling' is not about looking at people's behaviour at all and analyse them. Much rather it's all about talking to the patient, gather information and advise them on medication. Much like talking to your customer... but with your knowledge on what medication you will give to them. On top of counselling, you have to learn intensive organic chemistry to design drugs and learn more deeply about how the body functions, very great for anyone that is doing pre-med.
Damn, that sucks. I heard everyone's doing badly with all the bad economic recessions and all. Hopefully everything recovers by then, so you can go back to do the things you love.
But glad to hear you're hanging there so far.
Yeah, I have like three months of break from here. I am done with everything and I am glad I just barely pass my physiology course. No more cramming for extremely difficult exams anymore until I get back to uni. ;_; And the best news is that I don't have to deal with Biology anymore! Those are the most annoying subjects even if I do well in them.

I've been better I think, I've been looking for a real job for 6 months now and it's becoming quite the bother =P
