cosplay is like dressing up as your favorite character from an anime
movie or tv show
so your dressing up as someone and people rate
based on how accurate it is
how easily it is done (the more easy it is to do the lower the score you will get)
and they rate on how well you put everything together
while original is something you made up
people rate on how well it matches and how everything flows together
they also rate on originality

descriptions are important for both
