All About Moi!

My name is Vickie.
I'm a devout Christian.
I love apples, bright colors, and the number 11.
I also love reading, writing, and playing the violin.
Oh and I'm also Chinese so school is really important to me. I also do lots of academic clubs like MathCounts and Science Bowl. We won first in state for both and going to Nationals for Science Bowl! I know... nerd. Ah well.
My bday is February 21 so I'm a Pisces... which sux cuz I hate fish.
I also have this deathly fear of frogs... and knives... and wasps too.
I'm not really sporty but I am doing tennis and I got on the cheerleading squad! WOOT!!!
And I love romancey stuff. I'm a sucker for love stories.
I love Chinese songs like 爱的勇气, 爱转角, 超喜欢你, 求佛, and 该死的温柔. They rock! Relient K, Skillet, Thousand Foot Krutch and ZOEgirl are pretty cool too.

God's Miracles

People are always asking me, "Why are you a Christian? How do you know God is real?" I am a Christian because I have accepted Jesus Christ into my heart as Lord and Savior. I know that I'm a sinner and will always be, but Jesus loves me all the same. And I know He's real. He has done so many miraculous things in my life, as well as the lives of people around me.

- My friend's mom's had been born with uneven legs, one was about 4 inches shorter than the other. She had had to walk with a limp her entire life. At a church retreat, a pastor prayed for her leg and it grew! Her legs were now healed!

- My friend's grandpa had a fever and lung cancer at the same time. I prayed with her in church about her grandfather, asking God to heal him. That night, she got a call saying that the fever had "disappeared".

- Another one of my friend's grandmother was in a coma in the hospital for two days. One day, my friend suddenly got the urge to call her mom at school. She did, and her grandmother was awake, but only for 5 minutes. And so they talked. The very next day, her grandmother passed away.

- One of people at my church was not sure he believed in God. So he asked God for a sign that He was real. One day, as he was driving up a hill through the rain, he slid on the road and hit a woman. Instead of flying through the air, which was supposed to happen because of the Laws of Physics, she got sandwiched between his and her car! The lady did not die, and her only injury was a broken arm!

- Another miracle that happened the same incident as above. That man usually did not put his youngest daughter (who was then 2) in the car seat. Instead, his wife usually held her in the passenger seat. That day, however, he had a feeling that he should put her in the seat. If he had not, she would have been killed, or else severely injured, by the airbag.

- There was also this lady at my church who was told she could not have kids. She was really sad because she really wanted a child. She prayed to God about it, and He gave her a healthy, baby girl.

- My friend was very depressed and was having suicidal thoughts. She used to be with the Lord but had drifted away. At a church retreat, we prayed together. Later, she told me that she had felt a blob exit her body. She was back with God.

- As for me... I was at a church retreat too. I was trying to walk to the meeting place but got lost. I walked and walked, trying to find my way back. I was crying and praying to God. There was this lady who heard me crying, and she brought me back to the camp. I heard the grown-ups telling my parents that if I had went left instead of right, I would have been on the highway.

- Also... A pastor came to my church and started talking about speaking in tongues. That day, so many people started talking in tongues, which is the language of God... including me!

God is real, and He is watching over us, waiting for us, His children, to go back to Him. If you guys have any questions about God, Jesus, anything, feel free to PM me. I'll try my best to answer.

yeah thats funny u mentioned that cause when we made plans to go see transformers 2 i had not seen transformers yet and i just saw it yesterday with my friend who i am going with.
OMG i hate the doctors....0_O
Probably because my orginal doctor like has anger issues of something...lol i dont know if thats it or not but like when gives me a shot it feels like he's stabbing me...and then my brother got his done my the nurse and he said it didnt hurt. And the strept test isnt fun either....
but then there's another doctor and he's better! smile sorry i just talked about the doctors for like three lines or somethin like that

Nothin much with me. I'm going to see tranformers 2 on Sunday but thats whats really happening this week. ANd going to the dentist....ughhh... but thats not very exciting lol
