says i, the playing wolf
run and make sport!
for a bored young juvenile
indeed i the delinquent
oh then, turn fast and sharp,
so that i may catch thee,
when thy cuts themself with your own turn!
ha then, thee needs the cover of trees?
weel so do i!
Run, Run and make sport for the delinquent wolf,
and when thoust has had your fill of my sport
i shall have my fill of you!


streches the good father Roan
and his sister too
Found a place
with lots of space
and plenty of things to do
ahh, but the pups are stirring!
so run, or fall asleep!
if they see you awake, this rock here youll rake
in a vain attempt to escape them
oh the two males are Hawk and Owl
the two females are Swan and Blackbird
if you try to listend to their chatter
youll find it qiute absurd
and yet still its them we nurture,
oh no, they saw you,!
prepare for torture...
as we crept along
the silent wood
imagining lifes simple pleasures
when they came
disturbing the woods
and took us away
from eachother
and put collars on us
and tried to make us slaves
and fetch their slippers
which we tore aprt
then finally tired
they took us away from home
and dumped us in a strange place
yet they claimed themselves kings
but kings are merciful


And Luna howls
Responds Lupe the canine
And all that can howl
and the strange ones grimace
at the beautiful songs we sing
and don't see past themselves
and can not see our beauty
so they kill us
and all around them
the people who loved us
they killed to
because they were afraid
but who would not be?
the water buffalo fear us
but they are smarter than evil
Who are these strange people
to stand on top of the world
Because they have opposable thumbs?

Alone, high up on a moutaintop
A wolf sings of her despair
To the moon above, of a forlorn love
Her tale echos on the cold night air
With naught but the wind as a friend
To join in her sad lonely cry
Lost and alone and searching for home
The wolf and the moon in the sky
As the echoing notes die away
There comes an answering plea
To the sound turns her ear, she hears it so clear
"I'm coming, so please wait for me"
So she waits for the one who responded
And then she saw him appear
A wolf just as she, and longing to be
The one to ease all of her fear
He lifted his voice with a question
His song sweet as the croon of a dove
When she looked in his eyes, to her surprise
All she could see was his love
And so she answered his query
With her heart, her soul and her mind
Together give voice, and hope to rejoice
The wolves who are two of one kind.

A mournful howl pierces the night
Calling out to Luna to make things right
We cannot trust these creatures that are new who look at us with hate
And blame for that we did not do
They slaughter our red brother and pollute our mother earth
They scan the land not for beauty but instead for what it's worth
They cut off nature's connection and hide it in the shadow
They stay in their strange boxes and shove away all that they know
So help us dear moon sister, bathe us in your light
Give us peace in darkness though tomorrow may not be bright.

As I sit and watch this pack,
I realize trust is the only thing they lack.
You hunt us down without a care
Do you really think this is fair?
Give us a chance at life and you will see
how wonderful we can actually be.
So let the spirit of the wolf live in you
and guide you through life.

Sad is the shadow when he's shot at by light,
Sad is the figure when alone in the night,
Sad is the howl torn from his throat,
Sad is the pain flowing from his coat,
Sad is the twitching of his frail looking body,
Sad is the blood that covers the earth,
Sad is the spirit leaving his eye,
Sad is the watching of the death,
Sad is the seeing of the spark going out,
Sad is the howl from far off in the night,
Sad is the yearning in the eyes before leaving,
Sad is the life as it becomes useless,
Sad am I as I watch the life die,
Sad will I be as his family mourns him,
Sad will I be when I watch them come back,
Sad will I be as I remember him forever,
Sad at the loss of beauty and grace,
Sad at the loss of courage and face,
Sad at the loss of freedom and joy,
Sad at the loss of that one young boy,
Sad at the loss of the one in the night,
Sad at the loss of the one with the sight,
Sad at the loss of our one true friend,
Sad at the loss of our friend, the Wolf.

As I sit and watch this pack,

I am Wolf
Standing Proud and Strong
But why are you killing me?
What did I do wrong?
When you look into my eyes?

suddenly from a far distance
Miles away and deep inside your body

The night falls,
And with the moon rises my desire.
I pace the room like an animal caged,
A were-beast with no prey to hunt,
Trapped in a mountain ravine alone.
Wolves howl in the distance.
I dream to be one of them,
Fearless, night-silent, and powerful.
I would raise my voice in their song,
Answering call and howl, until a great male
Finds my scent and calls me to run with him.
Instead I stand here in the dark
The land around me flooded with moonlight.
Orion, benevolent protector, stands silently above.
The night wind blowing my hair back
As I raise my face, eyes-lidded, to the sky.
Then, in the dark, a sound, a rustle of the leaves.
I turn, poised to run to the safety of the lights
When I see him emerge from the brush
Tall, strong, with forest scents surrounding him.
Even as he approaches, I have given answer,
Accepted the invitation of his compelling yellow eyes.

Where do all the lonely people?
Where do all the people go?
In the silence of a shadow
The wind does sing and know that
Heavens only for the angels
Not the wounded souls so

Tired hands are knocking on the
Gate of cloud zero
Angels anger and shout
