About

Wade Wilson is the son of a military man and was forced to move all over the world. As a young boy, his mother died of cancer, leaving him in the care of his strict militaristic father. Wade would continually become more rebellious growing up, being a bully and a punk... until his father was killed by one of his friends when Deadpool was a teenager

Wade would then go on to be in the military himself, eventually becoming a black ops agent. Deadpool was kicked out of the army, "for being too good" he says. It was then that he found his calling as a mercenary. At first he would only take assassination jobs if he felt that the target(s) deserved to die. If he failed to complete a job, he underwent plastic surgery to change his appearance.

One of his mercenary jobs brought him to Japan where he was hired to kill the Oyakata. Wade however made the mistake of becoming friends with his target and joining the Oyakata's heya. The Oyakata was the greatest sumo, at least of his time, and was considered unbeatable. Wade tried to knock the Oyakata down everyday until he became strong enough and wise enough to do so. He quickly became a star sumo attraction calling himself "Chiyonosake," a name that the Oyakata's daughter, Sazae, gave him.

Wade would also become very close to Sazae, and the two were engaged. Wade would have inherited the Oyakata's heya and wealth, but fled once his employer found out that Wade refused to complete his assignment and came after him.

He spent the next several years taking different mercenary jobs and frequently hooking up with a prostitute named Vanessa (later known as Copycat), whom he had deep feelings for. When he discovered he had cancer, he chose to break up with Vanessa, wanting her to hate him rather than watch him die.
It was during this time that the inter-dimensional law firm called "Landau, Luckman & Lake" started watching Wade and believed that he would help usher in a golden age on Earth. Some members of the firm believed that he was a lost soul and a lost cause, but others believed he was worth fighting for.

He would eventually accept an offer to be a test subject for a branch of the Canadian government known as Department K. Department K, working in conjunction with the Weapon X Program, performed various tests on Wade where they intended to give him a healing factor derived from the mutant Wolverine.
The operation was an apparent failure but they could still use him and put him in a field team with other Weapon-X members: Garrison Kane, Sluggo, and Slayback. Wade realized that Slayback was a murderous psychopath and killed him.
This act washed him out of the Weapon-X program and he was sent to a government hospice where failed superhuman experiments were sent to live out the rest of their days. But unknown to the Canadian government, the patients were cruelly experimented on by Dr. Killbrew and his assistant, Ajax.
The residents of the hospice had a wagering game called the "Dead Pool," where they'd bet on who would be the next to die due to the horrid experiments. The one who kept track of the game was Worm, a man with a computer for a head. He and Wade quickly became friends.

It was here that Deadpool would be visited by Death, who believed she was coming to claim a deceased soul but was surprised that Wade was very much alive, and that his desperate yearning for death had summoned her prematurely. She was instantly attracted to Wade, and was delighted at the idea of a romance with a living being. They spent a lot of time together during Dr. Killbrew's torturous experimentations on Wade, where she'd ease his suffering by separating his soul from his body and bringing him to physical fantasies of her design until the experimentations were over.

Due to his desire for Death, Wade started mocking the sadistic Ajax, which the other inmates saw as bravery, following his rebellious example. Despite Ajax's wishes, he was not allowed to kill Wade because Dr. Killbrew believed that Wade, though a failed experiment, could hold the information necessary to make any future attempts successful. There was a rule in the hospice that an inmate would be sentenced to immediate termination if he/she killed another inmate, which Ajax used this to his advantage. He lobotomized Wade's friend, Worm, right in front of Wade. Death, whom was ever present at Wade's side, appalled torture and asked Wade to release Worm of his pain... which he did. Since he killed another inmate, Dr. Killbrew reluctantly allowed Wade's death and his heart was torn out.
However, Wade's intense anger and thirst for vengeance kick-started his healing factor, instantly healing his shattered chest and regrowing his heart before he took his final breath. Death begged and pleaded with Wade to resist his feelings so that he would die, and they could be together... but it was too late. Wade took this opportunity to kill Ajax and several guards, allowing himself and all the other inmates to break out of the hospice.
Wade took the monicker "Deadpool," after the betting game, and continued his mercenary activities.

Mimes own. BS
But that sounds pretty cool. The antagonist in the story I'm writing right now is the King of the nation my protagonists are from. But he's not really the king, he's just a doppelganger made from shadows.

Ah. Say, why isn't there a mime in your story?
He should be an antagonist.
