I won't take credit for the words displayed above, for they were written by a very dear friend of mine.
They do, however, scream truths that I have only begun to understand.
They are a lesson here that I should have taken to heart long ago, and I hope that no one has truly forgotten.

And now an introduction of myself. Obviously my username on her is Leader-samaNL. NL is short for Nekoluver, which is the name I use on most sites having started with Fanfiction.net. In fact, it is the name held by my first account here on Gaia, which was unfortunately lost to a hacking/scam.
Due to this, I don't add people who I don't know. Period.
There are very few people who I am truly close to, and those are the ones I love with all of my heart. Those are the few who I let really get to know me. I would do anything to protect them and see to their happiness. It is highly recommended that you don't mess with them... Ever. Generally I'm a nice person, but, as I said, I'm protective.
I'm what many of you would classify as a major nerd. I LARP, D&D, and partake in/help run a renaissance festival at my college. I'm a huge anime fan, and dabble in the life of a gamer. I attend and staff anime conventions.
I'm a writer of novels, poetry, and fanfiction.
I enjoy photography, but have yet to get a great camera.
I have experienced love, and I have suffered heartbreak. I wouldn't trade those experiences for the world.
There is nothing you can do to me that I can't handle.
