Haha that's fine! Love is hugely based on personal aspects & belief. Which is why I think you can find love in so many different forms xD

I definitely agree with the commitment. You have to be completely committed to the person even when times are tough or else the relationship just falls apart.

Lol I honestly don't either but it's nice to think that it could happen.

Although how could it be love at first sight when you don't know anything about the other person..?
But that's why they say love is blind wink

Pfft you guys sound so adorable though. I mean if I was sure I wouldn't regret saying it when I first meet someone I totally would, I'm just a big worry wart. But that whole love on the first date eee so cute. /swoon.

It's basically like love at first site. Now THAT'S romantic heart

Haha most of them rushed into right after high school & got married either during college, or they never went. Thankfully the other three seem to be doing well & are happy. I'm not like best of friends with most of them but I chatted now and then with them a few times and who can forget how intrusive facebook is!

Mhmm, I'm pretty slow but at least I don't do something I regret. My sister actually told a bf she loved him 2 weeks after they started dating & the next day realized "oopsy" she didn't actually want to say I love you yet, haha. xD

I'm just happy my boyfriend is really understanding and wants to take things slow too. We were both in bad relationships before which we felt put too much pressure on us; I was forced to say I love you & he was in a very one sided relationship. So thankfully we're both just taking things one day at a time.

Ugh I know, every time I venture into hollywood I have about 7 people asking me how much gold I have & then before I even bother answering (I usually just stick with my 7 gold answer) they'll brag about how they have a billion and I just.. don't care.

Any who~~ Ahh wedding planning, that's so exciting! I have a friend of a friend whose getting married and all I've heard are horror stories (although I think the bride is totally crazy). That's adorable you're taking your time though! So many people I know are rushing into things and getting married asap. About 5 of my classmates are already pregnant (and 2 of the 5 are already getting a divorce...) So it's definitely a good idea to take things slow this day and age.

I still haven't moved in with my boyfriend of 5 years because I'm unsure of what I want my next step to be (I'm a very slow relationship kind of person, we haven't even said I love you but we're very good for each other). Plus it's not just him living in the household as he has his 2 brothers & his sister there as well. ~If it was just him I think I would have moved in by now.~ But a large portion of it is because I was laid off & things kinda got pushed around to where I'm not comfortable moving in when I don't have a job as I would just sit around all day.

Yeah I know you mean. I actually enjoy the site better now too, since the people are definitely more relaxed and mature. Although the site itself hasn't been updated since, what, 08? 09? Although I don't know if the avatar style has much to do with not bringing in more people (there are a ton of 2d/pixelated games making a come back right now; minecraft, starbound, terraria, etc. & I'm active on a site called subeta which has the same 2D avatars just in larger form, and uses bbcode, of course their site is much more well managed & focused on 16+).

To me what's killing Gaia is the market (or lack there of one) & how items are released now. Everything is released in the cash shop. New users had a hard time earning gold back when I first started and now it's just downright impossible without spending real money. I think you're definitely right how they're just trying to get the old users to stay rather than focusing on the new ones - since long time gaians are more likely to purchase the items. I just think that's a terrible marketing ploy.

Aw well congrats to your fiance! (and to you for getting married soon!) The job market has been terrible for everyone the last few years, so I definitely wouldn't worry if right now things are looking bleak. I'm sure in the next few years things will definitely go your way!

Yeah a ton of people on here are just.. odd.
Although the age bracket has seemed to increase. I've been finding a lot of gaians more my age and above rather than the usual 13 -16 that I remember being on here before.

Oh that's a really interesting career you've got going! Best of luck to you too. I hope it'll work out in the end. I haven't found a passion really yet. I'm just kind of looking for work, just to work still. Nothing has really jumped out at me that seems like it could be a permanent area of work.
