The name's Rygdea. I work for the Sanctum, specifically, an officer in the Wide-area Response Brigade formerly led by Cid Raines-my commanding officer. Basically, the Sanctum's our form of government...but it's filled with deceit.
Before the whole l'Cie incident, I thought about retiring from the military, but instead, I joined Raines and the Cavalry to take down the government, and we gained the help of the Pulse l'Cie. Raines and I helped the l'Cie on many occasions. Their group consists of Lightning, Snow, Hope, Sazh, Vanille, and Fang. They ain't bad people like everyone thinks they are.
Somewhere in between everythin', Raines...became the new Primarch, leaving me up to the Cavalry. Things kept going from there, and...during the attack on Eden...he wanted me ta shoot him--saying something like he was the "fal'Cie's toy"...so I...I shot him. I killed my own commanding officer.
