Mysterious Character.

The mystery character is the one who appears in certain books - usually their past is shrouded in mist. Mostly good, though somewhat naughty at times, the mystery character does heroic or evil things from time to time... this may include the magic girl or boy, and is usually one of the last people to become friends with the hero on their quest. Mystery character may have some conflict with the hero from time to time, even a internal conflict of which side they would rather be on - good or evil - sometimes the hero even falls in love with them. Mystery character is also very quiet and graceful, and might have a conflicting past they don't like to talk about - for fear of tearing up an unhealed emotional scarring and appearing weak.
