About

My name is Yagami Raito but I am also kown as "Yagami Light" or just "Light."

I am 23 years of age and live in the Kanto region of Japan.

I live in an appartment with my girlfriend, the famous Misa Amane.

I was the junior high school tennis champion in 1999 and 2000 but stop playing tennis as I entered high school.

I attended Daikoku Private Academy 大国学園 and also took supplemental classes at Gamou Prep Academy.

After graduating I entered To-Oh University 東応大学 becoming 1 of 2 freshman representatives scoring first in the National College Entrance Exams.

While in college I joined the Japanese Police Force's Intelligence Department alongside my father and "L."
