I KNOW. IT'S ABSOLUTELY INSANE. THEY HAD GOLD GENERATORS IN BUNDLES OF 100 (average winnings being 11mil) FOR TWENTY DOLLA.

It's terrible. Sometimes, the gold gens have the chance of winning items (which can be great, if it allows the people using them to /only/ win items because item rereleases make particular items plummet in price) and/or special opportunities (like the Golden Ticket, which lets users design items - that's where my wings come from), so there are some pros, but mostly, mostly cons.
Gaia's gold economy is getting so bad that you're ******** if you're not an hxc vendor or if you don't have access to Cash/Cash offers. sad
