Ah, that must have been great. I've been camping in Squamish before, but it was only for a couple of nights, as this upcoming camp will be. Only 3 days, but I'm sure I'll make it last somehow. And you totally just described a dream trip for me, although the Great Bear Rainforest is my ultimate fantasy, camping-wise. I don't think I have a story that can match your tugboat one except a couple of killercoons fighting over a stray can. Those things are the size of rottweilers and do NOT mess around. D;

Did you climb mountains with rockclimbing gear and everything, or did you just hike with your canoes? XD

I agree! Some people can't handle a little perspective, sadly. But it's very refreshing when you can butt heads with somebody in a friendly way. I do enjoy having mock arguments with my friend until we both burst into fits of laughter.

Just 'round the Squamish area, and I definitely share your excitement! As well, that sounds absolutely amazing! I've only seen films from people who've made trips like that, but that kind of trip is something I've yet to do, but would LOVE to. How long did it take?

But of course. Life's no fun without a good challenge!

Indeed, it's a small hiking/camping/backpacking sort of thing, but I anticipate that those mountains will be no joke with a heavy pack, so I've got to get my fitness up. Been on a trip like that yourself? And I still think that way about running, although my friend assures me that once you reach "runner's high", you'll be addicted. I have, sadly, never reached such a high. I wish. :C

Yeah, I'm not totally sure where his logic was coming from, but it made for an entertaining debate. He likes to play devil's advocate, usually, which I can admire. XD
