life is the ability to feel so happy, you think your insides are going to explode. its being so upset or disappointed, you feel as if your stomach just dropped ten feet out of place. its running so hard, you can barely breathe. its that feeling of panic when you know youve been caught doing something wrong. its having that sudden rush before you kiss someone you care about. its opening your eyes and feeling them slipping because you spent the whole night crying. its letting people go, but letting new ones come in and all the while, realizing that life doesnt have a purpose unless you let it. its taken me a while, but im learning that letting go of the past is a good thing. it doesnt mean forgetting, it just means moving on. because you cant enjoy the present when youre stuck in the past. you know, sometimes we make decisions about our life and they feel like the right decision at the time. no, they are the right decisions at the time, but that doesnt mean theyll be the right decisions forever. and you know what ive realized as ive gotten older? there isnt a definite right and wrong anyway. sometimes we do what seems wrong, but we have good reasons for doing it. so its not wrong after all. you should see yourself for who you are. you are the most critical person in your life. you will choose to wake up one day and wear what you think is best on you. you really shouldnt worry what others think of you or worry how you look to others. as long as you are confident within yourself, you will become the most successful person in the world. its easy to forget how perfectly life works out. when you are down, you believe that things never work in your favor. but if you look back, you see that, in many cases, things happened exactly the way they needed to. there comes a time in life when you have to let go of all the pointless drama and the people who create it and surround yourself with people who make you laugh so hard you forget the bad and focus solely on the good. after all, life is too short to be anything but happy.
