The person behind the Cosplay:

Hello. While I won't tell you my name, I will tell you this:
I have been Fran since 2008. I used to go to Cosplay Town all the time and I am very passionate about cosplaying (here are all my arena entries). Sadly, this passion lead to arguments when other people wanted to cosplay her as well. Gaia is the only place I could cosplay her so, I felt a bit..possessive and a tad jealous when others would do her as well. I got into so many fights over copying issues too. Then the FFXII fad died down and the "cost of living" on Gaia went up.
All these things made me abandon this account for a while.
I only revived her to update her.
Now, I think, this is the best Fran can look on Gaia. I doubt they would make any other items that would be perfect for her, but who knows?

I also RP Fran and I'm looking for a Balthier to cosplay and RP with.
Send me a PM if you are interested.

Fran is a viera warrior and wields a bow, her default weapon. She also handles the maintenance of Balthier's airship, the Strahl.

Fran's hometown is Eruyt Village, a small enclave in Golmore Jungle where the viera dwell. She left Eruyt Village and cast aside the Green Word fifty years prior to the events occurring in the game, believing that although her kind begin with the forest, they do not necessarily have to be bound to its end. She had no intention to return to the Wood ever again until she and the others needed to get to Mt. Bur-Omisace, which lay past Golmore; unfortunately, the paths are sealed by Jote, Fran's older sister. Though normally the viera would let none pass, Vaan's brashness convinces Jote to reveal that Fran and Jote's younger sister, Mjrn, had left the woods to explore the Henne Mines, and was taken by the humes. They depart for the Mines, finding Mjrn possessed by Venat. Upon their return back to Eruyt, Fran admits that she sometimes regrets the choice she made years ago, as she is no longer able to hear the forest, and fears the Wood hates her for leaving. Jote assures her otherwise, Fran is skeptical, thinking Jote was just trying to comfort her. She leaves with the party, claiming to have become like a hume, and at ease with her conscience.

Fran, like all viera, is exceptionally susceptible to the Mist that permeates Ivalice: she is affected on two separate occasions, once when Judge Ghis heats the Dawn Shard in his airship's engine, and another time when she is in the presence of the Sun-Cryst. Likewise, in Giruvegan she could tell when the Mist had cooled. Of all the characters, she seems to be the wisest—fitting, as she is far older than the rest of the cast, despite her youthful appearance.
