Fai D. Flowright was born with a twin brother, Yuui. In the country of Valeria, the birth of twins was thought to be a bad omen, which led to many misfortunes on the country. The twins were imprisoned in a tower, where Fai chose to to save his twin, Yuui, and wass killed. Yuui vowed to being Fai back to life, and took his brother's name as his own, becoming Fai D. Flowright in place of his twin.
