Who am I?
Being a teenager nowadays is hard, but what most teens are ignorrant to is that it's ALWAYS been hard to be a teenager. Hi. I'm Lexi. I'm a 17 year old senior in high school, trying relentlessly to make my mark on the world. I'm the oldest sibling, therefore the role model. Those of you who know me, know my past, and will agree with me when I say I was a shitty role model. I realize now that my brothers look up to me for guidance, support, and encouragement so I'm trying a lot harder to be the best big sister.
The people who really know me, already know this, but I'm going to say it anyway: I'm a know-it-all. And not in that passive-aggressive, "I-know-more-things-than-you-so-HA!", nah. I seriously am a know-it-all. I retain information so well; I've also got a great short-term memory and photographic memory.
I've been pushed around my entire life. Stepped on, crushed, kicked in the dirt, thrown in the trash, and forgotten; why? One simple fact: I am NOT skinny. I am a curvy woman and I've finally accepted that. If people have a problem with it, that's okay. But it's not MY problem, it's yours. I'm perfectly happy the way I am. So, go ahead, take a number, leave a message, whatever. But I'm not going to engage with you.
