Castor : *brief heartfelt laughter* Why, that is an interesting assessment, young lady. I will have to refer back to the idea that criticism mirrors the critic, more than it does its target. *slightly delaying steps, surveying derelict-looking houses* ... Now, this area is actually one that might accommodate Mr Tiede's wishes, for as far as you expressed them.

(... *fniss*)

Castor : I contradicted you, actually. *tilt to calm smile* To answer your questions as they were asked: I don't, and they are the same thing. *languid pointing* Turn here.

(Jaså -- haha! -- jag trodde du menade skriva fel namn. Nej, det skulle han knappast.)

Castor : *distant contented look* Hoh, I would not dream of teaching what I know, ma chére. *eyes straying to sky again, half closed against breeze* For is there anything, after all, more hubristic by implication?

(*föreställer sig* ... Inte ... heeelt otroligt ...? *lol*)

Castor : Oh, goodness! *affected shock-gesture* Paranoia, my dear, is the very first sign of a shrinking soul! I would strongly advise you to bathe in the Beauty of Life -- daily! -- until you start to feel an upwards movement around the corners of your mouth. *replaces hands on back* Also: in about fifteen minutes at this pace.

Castor : *smile drifting slightly to introversion* Indeed it is not, madame. And since I happen to rather prefer emotion, I also -- as previously stated -- prefer Comedy. *tilts smile, benevolence rekindling* You are a very pretty thing, my dear, but you are in danger of ruining your intellect's skin with that dreadful moralising. I have seen minds like yours go absolutely creased and parched before the age of twenty-five, for simple lack of Poetry. (Ah, we had better follow this by-street.)

Castor : We-ell. *brief flash of badly-hidden boredom* I see you are an essentialist. Then there is really very little I can do to befriend you with the idea that absolute personalities do not exist. This, you see, is why philosophy should not be discussed through the mask of Drama -- there is glaring without overstepping from one sand-drawn circle to the next, and it gets so hopelessly dull.

Castor : O-hoho~! *delighted* Mademoiselle! Surely you know, that is just another mask. And becoming as it is together with your Gothic features, I have always preferred the one of Comedy. It is generally the guise of more striking profundity.

Castor : Thank you, mademoiselle. *brief flash of genuine life* And, yes -- our masks do have a tendency to guide us, don't they. In our own eyes as much as those of others: quite, at times, as if they were the ones wearing us.

Castor : *returns look, half-expressed smile playing in eyes* ... Myes. Indeed. I suppose I'm quite willing to find the beauty in all settings, as long as they haven't been forced into a vulgar sort of conformity -- but I have a personal penchant, you see, for watching people play along with them (and vice versa). *glances back for a slightly longer survey* Now, a night-shawled lily such as yourself would indubitably come to its right in its Gothic preference, but as it is, I must say that you make an enchanting contrast to the sun.

Castor : *slightly peaceful smile* Hoh -- well, you display a remarkably German spirit in pointing out the difference. *folds hands on back again, sidestepping some fallen leaves* But don't you think it's a simply marvellous day? Good Tiede, wherever he might have ended up, could not have chosen a temperature more congenial for his re-enactment of Paradise.
