So, amusingly, I picked up the "Andrea" as a normalization of my usual username Andraia, but Parker did come from the character Miss Parker on the Pretender. I didn't realize that the actress' name was Andrea Parker until after I started using this moniker online (when I was very very young, lol).

Parker has always been one of my favourite names, because of the Pretender (which I have been in love with since I watched it as a small child), and Andrea is the common form of the name I use on most websites. It wasn't until after I had adopted "Andrea Parker" as my standard "I don't want to put my actual information online" alias that I learned that the character I had stolen the last part of my name from was played by someone with the same first name. It was a coincidence, but it was one I highly enjoyed, so I've just rolled with it.

I completely understand! I try to field a new avatar for the Arena each week and that seems to be one of my problems. I don't wanna shove a thousand of my most expensive items into the itty bitty window and call it well put together. In fact, it kinda bugs me when people go overboard with the clutter because everything becomes so hard to see. Part of the fun should be showing off a well made avatar (I'll admit to having a goofed once or twice in my submissions) and sometimes only letting one or two items really shine, especially in conjunction with a little story about it. I'm also pretty sure I'm from a simpler time on Gaia and my age is starting to show now. xD
