Lust the Lascivious
Lust, the "Ultimate Spear", appears as the first Homunculus in the series: a shapely woman who primarily works in the shadows, acts as envoy for her leader in both iterations and encourages alchemists down her desired path.
In the manga (and Brotherhood), she is the second oldest and carries out Father's orders with an adamant will. A cruel and calculating being who feels nothing but the utmost disgust for humanity and sees them as nothing more than pawns. She is the first to introduce the theory that Homunculi are the next step in evolution, far above humans. A fact Lust seems to take great pride in.
Her special body allows her to turn her fingertips into razor sharp blades which can stretch out and pierce or cut through any substance. Her main purpose to Father is gathering information and traveling through Amestris spreading lies and "manipulating the truth", as to create chaos and benefit their ultimate goal. She also seems to have a great deal of influence and power over her other Homunculi brothers, as she can normally be seen as the one in charge of their operations and answers to no one but Father himself.
Her closest companion is the other Homunculus Gluttony, who sees her-- in his simple mind-- as a mother or older sister figure. Lust does not appear to be lustful, but instead appears as an object of lust for others. With her astounding beauty, high intelligence and human-like charisma, she has been able to control and deceit the weak minded for generations. Her Ouroboros tattoo is located just above her breasts.
In the first anime, she is somewhat different, being the third youngest. She's given a more emotional touch as the series progresses, driving her to want something she can never have. Here, she was created by Scar's older brother when he tried to bring his lover back from the dead in his thoughtless lust for her. Her ultimate goal is to become human, going as far as betraying Dante and briefly helping out the protagonist Edward Elric.
