okay wat u do is go to edit my profile layout and then the little side pannel click themes and choose one or u an add ur own witch u go to url on the top of the little box.then when it pops up go to google and type wat kinda background u want then u know were u put the www.gaiaonline.cim place well when u inlarge the pic on that place copy that then go back to gaia(remeber to open up another tab) and paste that into the little blank space in the big box and if u did it right u should see ur background.and not white.hope i helped u ^.^
