How I Became The Amazing Spider-Man!

The first day of the rest of my life started like any other. Gently tickled awake by Uncle Ben, I was victim of too much studying and too little sleep. Still I managed to put on a smile by the time i joined Aunt May and Uncle Ben for breakfast as usual. My shyness and scholastic interests had made me a bit of a social outcast at school. But my late night study sessions paid off when my science teacher singled out my work, mentioning that I was practically assured getting a scholarship when I graduated. Later that day, in an attempt to forget about my failure to fit in at school, I decided to visit a science exhibition. During one of the demonstrations, a common house spider was exposed to a massive dose of radiation when it swung into the path of a particle accelerator. The stricken spider landed on my hand and bit me as it died! With my hand burning from the bite, I began to feel nauseated and stumbled outside for some fresh air. What I didn't realize was that the spider's irradiated venom had begun to alter my biochemistry! My body was already mutating gaining the fantastic powers that you see before you! The powers that transformed me into the Amazing Spider-Man!!!
