Hi hi! Yes, I'm a *girl* in case you're wondering whether my avatar's gender is accurate... lol. I am pretty new to Gaia so I'll apologize now for being a noob! -_-I live in the USA. I love to read books and write novels of my own.
I really like music. Mostly rock and metal from the 80's and 90's. Def Leppard, Sting, Van Halen, etc. I also like more modern music/artists. Foo Fighters, 3 Doors Down, Nickelback, stuff like that. The only country I can bear listening to is Shania Twain and one or two songs from assorted artists. I also like movie soundtracks and orchestral stuff. Some of my favorite soundtracks are the Transformers' and Batman Begins' music. I really want the POTC and Chronicles of Narnia scores! The op/ed of some anime shows are also really good: Vampire Knight, Wolf's Rain, Fruits Basket, Tales of Symphonia are some of my faves.
I've played flute for 6 1/2 years. I played 1st row, 2nd chair in a local orchestra this past year. I'm taking a break from orchestra over the summer though, and will pick it back up when the fall session starts up. I know basic piano and taught myself how to play harmonica. I am saving up to buy a harp and I now have $700 towards my goal of $900 to purchase it.
I love anime/manga! I'm totally addicted to it and I could go on forever describing all of the ones I've read and seen.
