I have the very first version. And yeah, there's different versions. One is a 80GB memory and one is 40GB. I know mine has the capability to be my cd player, movie and blue tooth player, game console, and a whole bunch of other stuff...lol. It's the big bulky one, I think they came out with a slim version recently for $299 or something. I paid like... almost triple that when it first came out -_-' I am epically pissed because of that...lol. I still can't find the game. probably with my old PS or in some drawer somewhere either in my place or my sisters.
lol. I only remember it because it was where i was stuck...LOL.
Ah man, I gotta find that game this weekend...see if my PS3 will handle it.....or kill it...LOL
Haha, it was the one where you had to get by those floating dog things. I stopped there and kept getting put in jail so never saw the last boss. I went in with no cheat codes to begin with and made it to the law city in....50 hours.
I don't know that I really had certain things. The only thing that I really used were the Dragon Buster and the Divine Dragoon. And a bunch of Angel's Prayer and Healing Potions.... lots and lots of them.
Melbu Frahma took me about.... eight hours to beat, but that was with the ten thousand times that I died. I think to actually beat his, six (I think) forms, it took me maybe an hour and a half. I was so depressed the first time that I got through his first form and thought that I had finally beat it, just to be given more forms. I'm pretty sure that it's the hardest final boss that I ever fought in a game. XD
Yes, the plots were better back then, and now they just seem to be lacking. I guess they spend too much on the graphics. Which are amazing nowadays, and I really do wish that I could see LoD with today's graphics. I would buy a PS3 just for that... then again, I already intend to get one for Tekken 6.... but that's besides the point.
I love everything to do with LoD. Great storylines, the characters are well developed, even the minor characters, the graphics were pretty amazing for the time, and the music, I still listen to it, and the game took me an entire decade to beat. >.<
I agree, sometimes I wonder, but it might be the nostalgia of the old greats that people grew up with. Either that or it's the plot lines that were actually good back then. XD
I just wanted to say that I saw your signature in a thread and loved it. I'm glad to find another person who likes Legend of Dragoon on Gaia, since it's so rare. ^_^
