Thats certainly no lie. They got more into detail over some of the other characters, such as both Riza and Roy, Winry, and they even gave people like Havoc a chance in the spotlight. I think the little list of protagonists from the first series really grew when Brotherhood came to be.

Not to mention the animation was Much cleaner.
