About
Why is a Raven like a Writing Desk? Many a night I have spent pondering this simple riddle. Yet have I come up with an answer that seems to fit. I do not dare look online for the answer, or ask others for their takes. The joy I find in this question is the search for the answer.
I have spent much of my life, in search of The Answer. Whatever it may be, it has been my mission, my calling to answer it. But answering a question is only half of the experience. If one truly wishes to expand ones mind. One must first find the Question. This be my current search, I am looking for the Question that I must answer.
I know to some this may seem like a futile effort and a silly waste of time. But consider all those who have come before us in search of the Great Question. Pompous men and women throughout history have spouted on and on about their search for the Great Answer. But did they really know what Question to which they wanted an Answer? I say they should have spent more time, in search of what they wanted answered and less time in search of it all together.
The point I am trying to make is very simple. Socrates would tell his students to continuously question the acts of man and nature. That is simply what I am doing, for to ask the Question is to hold a tool of great power. One that can destroy Religions, Societies, and the very Human Mind. So I leave you with a simple Riddle.
