Biography:

Rayoku was an ordinary college student who lives as a responsible older brother.Though he has 3 other siblings, 2 of them went missing. He takes care of his youngest brother Yuki with special help from his childhood friend Kaoru. When he was young he lost both his parents in a car accident (though that's what was assumed from his former teacher Akio) so he had support from his other friends and their parents. Because of them he did not change for the worst. During an excavation project, Rayoku stumbled across an ancient temple. Upon entering deep within the temple, he encountered a suspicious man in black tampering with an ancient artifact protected by a sacred fire. Rayoku almost lost his life from the Shadows summoned by the suspicious man. But he was saved by the sacred fire that protected the artifact. The Phoenix that slumbered felt a familiar spirit within Rayoku and answered his call by granting him its power. Though he was not in complete control, Rayoku easily defeated the Shadows but the man was nowhere to be found; presumely he escaped. After that incident he suddenly collapses and becomes unconscious. After healing successfully in the hospital he received word from Akio that the neighboring towns and cities were in turmoil due to the sudden arrival of monsters. And they very same ones that Rayoku encountered in the temple. Because of the situation, Rayoku was left with one choice... protect the weak and the innocent that are in danger. And in the same time learn more of his newly gifted powers and learn to control it. That way, he can protect those that are precious to him.
