There are things you should know about me....
I love photography, in a devoted head-over-heels kind of way. I love my SLR, I love my tripod, I love my Adobe Elements, I love dark rooms. I even love the chemical smell of dark rooms, and the safe lights. I get jealous whenever I see a good photo because I wasn't there to have a chance at taking it. I named my camera because, like a ship, she can take me places. I chose Persephone because I'm a classics student, and Persephone was queen of the underworld. It's sort of hard to explain my logic, but I think the essence of photography is really about dead things.
And, I love archery. Do not try to come between me and my shooting time. I think compounds are lame, and prefer a more traditional style. My current bow is an Olympic recurve.
And then, of course, there are my books. About fifty billion of them, most of them on my shelves, some of them on my floor, and more somewhere in my bed. I read a lot. A lot of people, friends/parents/teachers, think I should be a writer. I don't know about that, but I am going to major in English this year and the next.
Yeah, I'm in high school, I just turned seventeen. I'm ancient. As my avatar suggests, I'm a girl. I have a lot of names, but you can just call me Dream. My name is Emma, but my nickname has been Amme since third grade, though only among certain friends.
Some random things about me? Well, I collect windchimes [I have over twenty in all], I love role-playing [literate ], I'm way more random than this boring bio suggests, I take Latin as my foreign language, and I obsess over some things. I do like manga, though I'm not a fanatic reading everything and speaking in Wapanese. I also love a good video game, though Tetris will always be god.
I don't have any phobias. I even like spiders, which seem to freak everyone out. I like crowds, large spaces, small spaces, heights, the dark, dogs, cats [black ones included], walking under ladders, stepping on cracks- oh wait, those are superstitions. Shut up. Well, one thing I'm afraid of are giant squids. Most unrealistic fear ever. I guess I'm not so much afraid of them, as it just is my number one Worst Way To Die. I have nightmares about them, and it's pathetic.
