My name really is Kerilyn (pronounced the same as Carolyn); I've just recently turned 17, and I live in the Southern United States. 10 points if you can guess the right state. At first glance, there's not really too much about me. I'm usually soft-spoken, and try blending into the crowd. Attention usually isn't something I strive for. My interests tend to be a bit uncommon, though. Anything macabre or abnormal will immediately warrant my attention. The human body and all its intricacies is really a beautiful and fascinating thing, don't you think so? Not just humans, either-- any organism is just a gorgeous, complex puzzle.

As far as hobbies go, I guess I'm a bit of a painter, or artist... or something. I wouldn't consider myself to be a particularly good one. It's been a couple of years since I've delved back into the subject, so I suppose that's to be expected. Video games are nice, but I not crazily obsessed with them; I really only play horror, thick-plotted, or straight-up, highly loaded action ones. Those, and the ridiculously popular ones (like Call of Duty, and Zelda for example). I love mystery and horror novels, but am getting rather tired of Steven King, and most mainstream authors. Clive Barker, and Michael Crichton are still quite interesting. I absolutely detest clique fantasy themes, and prefer gritty realism and psychological thrillers. The more twisted, violent, and questionable, the better.

I think I've rambled on enough. Best stop while ahead, right?
