(Gaia Username Change)
Hello my name is Tito, and I have gone by Scurd for a long time on this website. Scurd was a name that I came up with when I was in middle school, and so I hope that you will understand when I say that it is a name that has stuck with me as a Gaian pseudonym for a while now. Scurd still holds a lot of memories for me from my years on this website. As a result I have elected to hold onto the name as a part of my username along with the addition of my nick name of Tito. Being that I would like to retain some anonymity with my online presence, I will be keeping my full name abbreviated to E.V. Guerrero.

(More About Me)
I am by heritage of Meso-Indigenous and Celtic descent. At most this is the extent of what I can claim, being that I was never born or raised on tribal lands, and my family ever being associated with any northern tribal communities here in the US. However, in order to honor my ancestors on both sides, I have chosen to appreciate heritage, and to that I am sure that they, and Creator are pleased.
Additionally I am a gay and genderfluid writer, I was born male however I don't much care for pronouns. Which is not to say that I identify as non-binary, I just fall under the gray zone on the trans-spectrum. In any instance if you have to use pronouns for me, I appreciate He/Him/His as well as They/Them/Theirs, and any combination of the two will suffice just fine. I was born in Texas in 1993, making me an elder millennial and I was transplanted to Florida with my family in 2001 due to my father's work. I am also a student nurse, and I have been working as a nurse assistant at my local hospitals since 2018, which is before the pandemic. I have served on the front lines of the coronavirus outbreak, and I am still as in love with the medical field as I have been since the beginning. To any that knew me before my decision, the medical field has been a new found passion for me for the past five years, which would explain my absence from Gaia and from my love for writing. Unfortunately due to the rigorous and demanding nature of nursing school, this means that it will probably explain a lot of my absences from it going forward.

(My Beginnings)
If you are one of the special few who knew me from before my decision to join the medical field, you will know that I have held many passions close to my heart. For example at the start of my collegiate career I ventured into the world of operatic performing. All throughout my undergraduate schooling I was always involved in the musical arts, be it in the choir or involved in private music lessons; but it was always opera that held my heart. However, not all things are meant to be, at least not as I had intended them to be anyways.
Things change, and bills have to get paid at the end of the day, and so my love for performing music will have to be a side hobby for now. Much the same as my love for literature.
My love for writing must have stemmed from my love for reading ever since I was young. Reading novels and my affection for them never came easy to me, what with having several mental processing disabilities. When I was able to learn how to read for myself, it became my escape. I read most of the books that I could get my hands on, and I even began writing here on Gaia in the form of Role Playing.

(Going Forward and Closing)
As it happens, I have several personal stories in the works, and it would be the pinnacle of my writing career to become a published author. So with that being said, I am hoping to make a return to Gaiaonline for a long time, in order to keep up the practice of writing and storytelling. I have a collegiate level associates degree in the arts, and so therefore I would like to think that I am educated above the norm, but truthfully at times I may not be the most eloquent in my writing. Especially when it comes to the matter of grammar, and being consistent with my tone or style. Therefore I plan to work at my writing as I balance all of my other passions. For after all, practice makes perfect. So, to all my fell members on this site, I formally ask that you would help shape me into a better writer, and hopefully an even better author.
