My name is Araeni. That's A-Ray-nee if you're wondering. I have to say, I'm surprised if you're reading this, as I don't have a lot of friends, but all are welcome! I swear I don't bite! I am just a bit of a loner on this site and in life, (hah) but I am always open to meeting some good friends, especially if you are a lover of roleplay like myself. I have been on Gaia since 2008, and that's what I spent the bulk of my time on this site doing, so if you are interested, please by all means, befriend me, pm me, whatever you like. I'll be sure to respond.
Though I have been on this site for many years, I was not always active. It's been on and off for a few years in between longer bouts of activity. My old account got banned during one of my long absences and I wasn't able to get my account back. (*tear*) so I disappeared under a cloak of sadness and despair for another couple of years before I made this account. I started up roleplays again, but sadly had to drop off them again due to the business of my life. Between school and work, I had to sacrifice some time from Gaia to survive in the real world. I've lurked around on the site many times, logging in here and there to check things out, noting some big changes, but wasn't ready to become active again until just recently. Now I'm back for good again!
I am going on 27 years old now ( gonk I know... I'm like an old lady haha!) but I still love all things fantasty, science fiction, action, and romance regarding roleplays. I try to be very creative and would consider myself to be quite literate as I've been at it for quite some time. I prefer to type up at least a few descriptive paragraphs in roleplay responses so if you hope to start one, you can expect as much from me. Somewhere I have a list of active roleplay characters but in the process of updating everything on here, I haven't yet tackled that bit. One thing at a time, though. If you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask. I'm happy to respond.
