I am Captain Edward "Blood coat" Blanch, age 22, Captain of the Black Orchid fleet. I was married to Emily Blanch. I left after I found her cheating on me with another man. I killed the man and ran off, eventually embracing the life of a pirate. In my early life on the run I came to live on the island of Okinawa, were I became friends and drinking buddies with a black smith of one of the villages. After a typhoon had all but destroyed the village, I helped them rebuild, not asking for any payment. the leader of the village ordered the blacksmith to craft a blade. the whole village worked on it with the black smith, each putting a single stroke into the blade. when it was given to me, the Saya, or sheath, had 寛大な心 inscribed into it. it means "a Generous Heart". A year later, I left the village.

After 3 years I had become the captain of a Pirate fleet containing 4 ships, my ship The Black Orchid, a Spanish Man-of-war, Named after a flower I had liked back when i lived in Okinawa. The Blue Calypso and The Maelstrom, both Crommestevens, and The Humming Bird, a Flyboat. Currently assaulting the Caribbean, I pass the time by Carving wood. My reputation is odd compared to most captains, kind to my crew, but more fierce then the Kracken in battle, my favorite tactic in battle is strike only at night quick and quiet. I have only been cut one in hand to hand combat, an English captain who's name I have forgotten. out of respect I left his ship and gave him a token of respect, a brooch in the shape of a black orchid.

Each sword fight I have won, I claimed my opponents blade, mounting them on my cabin wall. I have collected 24 in all, from all around the world. I clean my blade upon my coat earning me the name "Blood Coat"

Ok enough playing around my real name is Jeremiah, but every one calls me Alex or Teddy. I am a master Maille Weaver, yes as in chain maille. I have been doing this for 5 years now and have done pieces for people from all over the world. I have worked with gold, silver, titanium, mild steel, stainless steel, galvanized steel, colored aluminum, enameled copper, and Niobium rings. I mostly just work with Galvanized Steel. My Favorite project has to have been the Chainmaille Strippers Bra and thong I made. I try to post pics to New page on facebook when possible. if you have any questions about me just ask.
