There's a story behind every person. There's a reason why they're the way they are. They aren't just like that because they want to be. Something in the past created them and sometimes it's impossible to fix them.
I learned not to trust people; I learned not to believe what they say but to watch what they do; I learned to suspect that anyone and everyone is capable of 'living a lie.' I came to believe that other people -even when you think you know them well- are ultimately unknowable.
I no longer have the energy for meaningless friendships, forced interactions or unnecessary conversations.
People were created to be loved. Things were created to be used. The reason the world is in chaos is because things are being loved and people are being used.
Sometimes I get so sad that it's hard to breathe. So tell me how do you expect me to talk about my demons when they're sitting on my lungs.
It's one of the saddest things about people -their most important thoughts and feelings often go unspoken and barely understood.
To lose someone you love
Is to alter your life forever...
The pain stops, there are new people,
But the gap never closes...
This hole in your heart
Is the shape of the one you lost-
No one else can fit it.
When I look up I see people cashing in. I don't see heaven or saints or angels. I see people cashing in on every decent impulse and every human tragedy.
I'm that person everyone replaces after a while.
Plenty of people ask me if anything is wrong. But I find that none of them really want to know.
