Why I'm Me

Today I had a jazz band final for the class. We had to play "A Song For My Father" Our arrangement was one time through the head, and improv, and another head. For those of you who arn't in jazz band ill explain it in lamemans terms. The head is the main melody of the song, and an improv is a made up solo that goes along with key changes and fits in with the head and what the backgrounds are doing. So we played the melody through once, then took the repete and did an on the spot solo that was made up, then played through the melody one more time. It was our final, and we were being graded so since nothing else exciting happened, I'll tell you about the grading scale. We had to pick up on the key changes and emphasise the first, third, and seventh note. What that means is that every time the peice changed sharps or flats, we had to emphasise the first, third, and seventh note of the scale that we were in. Well thats about it, I don't know if thats what other people write about or not but its me, so let me know if it was boring, or what I could do to improove it next time. Well until then, bye!

i love to play any kind of sport. Sports are my main hobby and even if I'm not that good, i still play it to have fun. I also enjoy listening to music and anything outside is always fun. I also play a trumpet in jazz band and am pretty passionate abo

Girls are like apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree. The guys don't want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they get the rotten apples from the ground that aren't as good, but easy. So the apples up top think somethings wrong with them when in reality they're amazing. They just have to wait for the right guy to come along, the one who's brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree.
