Anko Mitarashi is the proctor for the second phase of the Chunin Exams. She is also a former student of Orochimaru and was one of the first people to be branded with one of his cursed seals. Since she lacked the lust for power and vengeance needed to fuel the seal, she was never able to effectively utilize it and the seal fell into inactivity. During her time with Orochimaru she learned how to call upon snakes to aid her in battle. In time Anko realized that Orochimaru did not truly care for her and that he saw her only as a tool. As such, she chose to leave him, though allowed him to wipe her mind of their time together before doing so. She now harbors an intense hatred for her former sensei.


Ability's:

As a child, Anko's talent for ninja arts were presumably high, as shown from Orochimaru's initial interest in her. Anko knows several forbidden techniques, taught to her by Orochimaru, the most notable of which is Twin Snakes Mutual Death, a murder-suicide technique she attempted to use to eliminate her former sensei in the Forest of Death, for the sake of Konoha. She can also summon snakes like he can, though she only does so once, during the Land of the Sea filler arc. She also has incredibly quick reflexes, able to outmaneuver several of Orochimaru's attacks. Her accuracy is also on a compatible standard, being able to make a Konoha symbol by throwing 58 dango sticks after eating the dango, some which where thrown while wiping her mouth and looking in the other direction. Her intelligence is also presumed to be fairly high, and she can do quick mental mathematics. Within a minute of her arrival at the Chunin Exams, she was able to count all 78 genin and 26 teams

Twin Snake Sacrifice Jutsu

This forbidden jutsu is a murder/suicide attack; killing both the user and the target. The user makes a one-handed seal with both their hand and the intended victim's. Two snakes are then summoned from the user's sleeve, biting both their wrists and killing them by deadly venom. Since Orochimaru is the creator of this technique, it seems he may hold the key to surviving this fatal attack. It is most speculated, that since Orochimaru is a snake, the venom will intentionally do no damage. Thus, able to counter attack Anko's jutsu easily with a replacement.

Summoning Technique

This is the basic form of all summoning techniques. It is a space/time type ninjutsu. When summoning an animal it requires a contract, hand seals and the user's blood. Striking shadow snakes

This jutsu allows the user to eject snakes from their wrist or sleeve, usually after a punching motion. The snakes are used primarily to attack from a distance and, being snakes, can inflict multiple poisonous wounds on the victim's body or hold them in place

Fire Style: Dragon Flame Jutsu

The user breathes fire along a cord or any other type of long object. While the technique is shown in the anime to be even larger and more devastating than Fireball Technique (and being able to melt rock), in the manga it is shown to be nothing more than a small burst of flame running along a line of wire.

Multi-Striking Shadow Snakes

By increasing the amount of snakes summoned with the Hidden Shadow Snake Hands, the diversity of this ninjutsu is increased. The swarm of big snakes appear in an instant, each snake individually doing something like intimidating, diverting, or capturing the enemy in a cooperative attack. Without giving them the time to react, the enemy is entangled.
