It is depressing being around bad people all day and it is even more exhausting having to torture them. Every once and a while, the devil takes a "vacation" for a few months in (mostly) human form and lets her minions run hell while she relaxes as a mere mortal.

Despite popular belief, Teu is not evil. In fact, she is quite righteous in her own way and takes pleasure in punishing those who have wronged others. Her work is unpleasant at times, but she finds it necessary and noble. In human form, she is generally kind, but has a quick temper.

She is often conflicted in her views on humanity as a whole- sometimes loving humans and wanting to protect them and other times wanting to give up on them for the terrible ways they treat each other. She also loves to challenge peoples' beliefs about religion.
