I'll keep an eye out for your topic for sure, hon.
I'll make that thread, too - but I'll probably take my sweet time doing it. sweatdrop My brain is still recovering from the last surge of Script Frenzy.
While I have to agree that Maj and Babel can be trollish sometimes, Maj's advice also comes through - and Babel's sarcasm can sometimes contain a really good message (the "would you read this" thread he made, for example). I'd have to say it's more the idiots who surface to give fluffy non-existent feedback on misplaced threads who drag the place down...
Oooh, you are pissed. *pats Marrtin on the back* There, there, hon... We'll think of something.
I'm actually thinking of making a thread about Spoken Word/Performance Poetry vs Written Poetry. Just wondering what people think about it - is Poetry best read silently or spoken/performed? Would it be considered something more of a drama thing versus a literary thing? I'm completely terrified of getting into poetry and spoken word (due to the fact that I believe I have nothing worth sharing) - any tips on getting over that/is there a getting over that?
Well, we've got the 111 thread, so I guess all we can really do is just ignore the idiots who post in the wrong forum and hope they get the clue. Unfortunately I don't think anyone will get the memo that stickies are meant to be read anytime soon. The best we can do is not let it get us down - but I can understand where you're coming from. It seems to me that there are very few actual discussion topics in the WF - most of them are misplaced threads or "help me"s. Has there been anything on your mind on the subject of literature or writing technique lately? Something that could be turned into a long discussion?
Sounds interesting - sorry I haven't been on lately, I just finished my Script Frenzy script tonight, so you'll be seeing a lot more of me from now on. What did you have in mind?
I just can't stop reading that sig of yours EVERYTIME I see you post in the writers forum, and it's funny to see the n00bs/spammers get bent out of shape over your sig love it and I had to save it I hope you don't mind.

What do you think? Would that sort of thing fly?
