I hate you, and then I love You.. It's like I want to throw you off a cliff and then rush to the bottom to catch you.
Moving on requires letting go.. and I don't think I'm quite there yet..
I just want you to hold me one more time, because the only thing that scares me is that I'll never feel that safe again.
What We Used to Be:
Endless pain in the state of mind
though eyes are open, the seer's blind
looking and seeking with nothing to find
cruel and conceited and so unkind
Chasing the past they cannot rewind
haunting memories they cannot leave behind
the unbearable truth they cannot deny
the overall strength, they're unwilling to supply
the forceful question without a reply
knowing the answer, but won't self-apply
caring only for themselves, wont help satisfy
the starving hunger deep inside
those who mourn and sacrifice
looking and seeking for a place to hide
running from the problems, for which they've cried
dreams turned to dust, hopes have died
avoiding the truth, denying they've lied
so stuck up, feeling so much pride
unwilling to be humble, and stand by the side
of the friend of which they once denied
Now its over, the tears have dried
they all march forward, and you step aside
as if they already knew you to abide
as your morals and mind begin to collide
you're confused and just cannot decide
you run but there's no place for you to reside
every place you go, you're on the outside
the once made promise is now untied
the very same promise on which i once rellide
but surely should have known it to misguide...
