I'm a Vegetarian! here's my 20 reasons to be a vegetarian:1. Vegetarians are healthier
2. For every person that becomes a vegetarian a year, 100 animals are saved yearly
3. Cow farts cause global warming
4. Meat packaging factories cause pollution
5. Meat packaging factories waste fresh water, which is scarce in other parts of the world
6. Animals eat more than people, so more farmland is given up for the meat industry than for human consumption
7. Third world countries give up their farmland to support America’s addiction to meat.
8. Vegetarians don’t get as much acne
9. Vegetarians tend to be skinnier
10. Americans don’t eat as much fruits and vegetables as they should, but overdose on protein
11. Body odor smells worse if you eat meat
12. Vegetarians taste better (yeah, that’s sexual)
13. Farmers didn’t go out and kill an animal everyday to feed their families 100 years ago, so why do we need to buy meat whenever we go to the grocery store?
14. You don’t get that bloated feeling as much without meat
15. Tofu and tempei beat chicken and beef any day
16. Do you actually know what state/ country your meat came from?
17. Cows are fertilized so when their babies are born they can be ripped away from the mom, to be turned into veal or grow up to have the same fate as their mommies
18. Did you know gelatin, which is in a lot of candy, is made of ground up animal hooves and bones?
19. Ancient religions, such as Judaism, Islam, Hindu, Sikhism, Jainism, and Buddhism, promoted vegetarianism, so its been a tradition for a long time.
20. Everybody loves a Vegetarian!
