My little girl laid her head down that night to go to sleep.
As I stepped out the room, I heard her say a prayer so soft and sweet
"God bless my mom and my Dad
and my new friend, Alyssa

I had the worst night of sleep in years
as I tried to think of a way to calm her fears
I knew just what it was I had to do *I knew exactly what I had to do*
but when we got to school on Monday I heard the news

The reason for the teardrops on my guitar is because of him, the one that had enough of me to break my heart.

Can you really heal a broken heart?

Can you be so sure that you are going to live through?

What is the meaning of all of this you ask?

Well, Chaos and misery is all around us.

If you can heal a broken heart,
If you can love some one with a broken heart,
Then how do you do it?

And why do you love some one with a broken heart when you know that they will always be sad from the fact?

People say that they know me,
but how can they know me when I still don't even know myself?

People can be selfish

People can be hurtful

People can say things that they don't mean and want to come back,
and or go back to where they came from because of it.

Heart Break can be simple and so complex at the same time.

I relpy "Sometimes people can have it good in life but, they can feel sorry about something that they did."

Faking a smile can sometimes be an advantage to a crush so that they don't have to choose between 2 people and break a heart.

Just leave it be, and let it take it's course, even if they have enough of you to break your heart.
