He just isn't a person I could see cutting people up.
Oh, another theory from the interwebs:
"Oh, my theory is that Red John is the blind woman. Too convenient, too helpless, red hair and there was a teacup at the end. Just a thought."

If it's actually him, that would be the biggest plot twist EVER.
I think It has to be someone on the police/gov force, and be pretty close to him.
I was considering his CBI comrades, but that would make no sense.
I really don't think it's Patrick though, cuz' in like the last ep of Season One where he got really close to catching Red John
and shot that police guy that had the info about Red John. Did you see hit reaction to the gun? He was like "OMGWTF did I just do?" I don't think he's capable of killing his own family and others... I hope.

For a little, I thought he might have been the CBI's head (Is it Minelli or something? The oldish guy) person.
One episode, that guy left just before a murder by Red John was comitted.
Also, Red John has to be someone in police/government.
