ER docs have a descent amount of patient contact. But I couldn't do nursing. I have no desire to collect stole samples, help them in the bathroom, etc. It's frustrating enough when someone defecates in the lance, and thats without having to clean them, just the stretcher. But yeah, the thing I probably like best is the "playing detective" aspect. The trying to figure out what exactly is wrong, running tests, analyzing data and symptoms, ruling out things, and making a differential diagnosis.

Yeah, much more of a medical person. I love Cardiology, and things like that, and emergency stuff is great. I'd probably go for ER doc, but I hear they burn out really fast.
